The Public Forum Institute Democracy Delegate Volunteers

Meet other local citizens to discuss how technology can enhance the democratic process in various civic engagement activities such as face-to-face local public forums. We also apply this knowledge with a regular impartially moderated citizen-based face-to-face public forum series throughout Washington, DC neighborhoods.

This MeetUp activities include:

~Form local citizen-based committees to
organize interconnected professional civic forums about important issues of policy from start to finish that are neutral and inclusive spaces for thoughtful dialogue and citizen-based policy recommendations.

~Social Media - Web 2.0, 3.0 technologies
~Graphic Design of Promotional Forum Flyers
~Interviewing of citizens about democracy, ethics, their opinions, and experiences in civic life or public policy.
